About Me

After a successful college and professional football career, my passion in health, fitness, and nutrition led me open my own training facility where I could help dedicated individuals reach their health and fitness goals.  Since 2010, as the head CrossFit coach and owner of CrossFit Freedom in Libertyville, Il., I have been fortunate enough to work with hundreds of athletes work toward their fitness potential.  As time has gone on, my focus has been as much on health and nutrition as it is on fitness.  I truly believe that nutrition is the foundation of our health and that we can only look, feel, and perform our best if we focus first and foremost on what we are fueling our bodies with and the lifestyle choices that we make.  I take great pride in practicing what I preach on a daily basis, and find nothing more rewarding than being able to help others improve their quality of life.  In 2014, I decided to further my education and become a certified health coach in order to expand my opportunities to impact others.  I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. With my knowledge and experience, we will work together to create completely personalized actions and plans based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources.  One thing I have learned over the years is that we all need support, guidance, encouragement, and accountability.  Regardless of our own level of commitment or knowledge, we cant do it alone.  Let me help you look and feel your very best.  Let me help you accomplish your goals and realize your potential.  As your coach, I will put the power back in your hands to make real, sustainable life changes.  Lets do this
